point-of-sale & signage

Design process & fitting

Briefing

We like to know your full objectives and what you want to achieve by the end of the project. We will start by getting to know your company and services. You can liaise by email, telephone or a face-to-face meeting.

If you have any text or images please let us have these, so we can include them when designing the initial concept.

If copy writing isn’t your strong point, just let us know and we will organise it to be written professionally for a small additional cost.

If you don't yet have a logo or corporate identity, we can also offer this service. Please click here for further details. >

First Drafts

This is when you will see our initial thoughts and where we see the direction your packaging or Point of Sale going. We will supply a series of follow up concepts so you can get a feel as to how everything is looking.

These, along with all further drafts, will be sent to you in Adobe PDF format by email.

Feedback

Once you have received the initial drafts, we need to know what you think. You're welcome to take as long as you need to consider them.

We ask that your feedback be as specific as possible to help us understand what it was about each concept that did or did not appeal to you.

When you're ready, simply contact us with your changes.

Redrafts & Revisions

Once we receive your feedback work will continue on the project, making changes as requested.

These subsequent drafts are then sent as before for your further consideration. Most sets of revisions take less than two days to prepare.

Finalising

Once you have approved your final design, the artwork is prepared in three sets and sent via email for immediate use.

These sets include:

Original Artwork

Copies of the original artwork in either Quark™, InDesign™ or Illustrator™ formats

Print Ready

High-resolution print-ready PDF documents with printers marks, set up for commercial print with no further modification required.

Preview/Email

Standard PDF files without printers marks, reduced in file size for preview, email and download purposes.

We also supply technical information such as fonts and colour references used in the designs.

With the project concluded, you are ready to begin distributing the artwork to suppliers as required. We can arrange print quotations if necessary – please ask for details.

Fitting

Once you have signed off your chosen design the artwork will be sent to the sign specialist and we will give a date for delivery and fitting. This time is normally 10-14 days. Of course, if additional time is required we will let you know at the time of design sign off.
